THEIR STORY
Oliver Kirkland never truly met Francine Bonnefoy as a child, only admired her from afar. He longed to play with her, but centuries of their countries fighting kept them apart, and eventually the pink-haired Brit forgot about his childhood "friend."
However, they met again. Francine was out buying groceries in the rain. Oliver also happened to be out that day, so he offered to walk the lovely lady home under his umbrella. They exchanged numbers at her doorstep, and they continued to see each other, until Oliver asked her to be his girlfriend on their fifth date. And so began a beautiful relationship, filled with cupcakes and love and raising Allen and Mathieu-- until Allen grew up and demanded to leave the house. This caused a major rift between Oliver and Francine. Oliver, unable to control himself, stabbed Francine in the back. She managed to survive, thanks to Mathieu. Francine moved back to Paris, where she lived by herself.
Six months after the incident, Oliver travels through miles of snow to Francine's townhouse to make amends. She forgives him, and they agree to start over. Several months later, Oliver proposes to Francine. They have been married ever since.
